1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (βStudent,β βParent,β or βGuardianβ) and The Quran Class (βAcademy,β βwe,β βus,β or βourβ). By creating an account, registering for a free trial class, subscribing to an academic fee plan, or utilizing our free digital resources, you explicitly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
If you are enrolling a child under the age of 18, you represent and warrant that you are their parent or legal guardian with full authority to agree to these Terms on their behalf.
2. 7-Day Free Trial Policy
We believe every student deserves to experience our teaching methodology firsthand before making any financial commitment:
- Complimentary Sessions: The trial includes 2 full live 1-on-1 sessions with an accredited Quran scholar matched to your age, level, and timezone.
- No Credit Card Required: You are not required to provide any payment details, credit card, or banking information to book or participate in the trial.
- Zero Automated Billing: There are no recurring auto-renewals or unexpected charges following the trial period. Conversion to an enrolled plan requires your explicit consent.
3. Islamic Classroom Ethics & Conduct
The Holy Quran is the sacred Word of Allah (SWT). Both tutors and students must maintain the highest standards of Islamic adab (etiquette) and mutual respect during all sessions:
- Modest Attire: Students and tutors must be dressed modestly in accordance with Islamic values during live video sessions.
- Distraction-Free Environment: Students should attend classes from a quiet, clean, and well-lit study room to facilitate focused learning.
- Punctuality: Students are requested to join the virtual classroom on time. Tutors will wait in the classroom for up to 15 minutes before marking the session as unattended.
- Zero Harassment: Any inappropriate behavior, disrespectful language, or harassment will result in immediate termination of academy access without refund.
4. Tuition, Fee Plans & Monthly Billing
Tuition fees are structured transparently and billed on a monthly prepaid cycle based on class frequency:
- Starter Plan ($35/month): 1 live 1-on-1 class per week (~4 classes/month).
- Most Popular ($55/month): 2 live 1-on-1 classes per week (~8 classes/month).
- Intensive Plan ($75/month): 3 live 1-on-1 classes per week (~12 classes/month).
- Hifz / Full-Time ($110/month): 5 live 1-on-1 classes per week (~20 classes/month).
Invoices are issued monthly in advance. Sibling discounts (up to 15%) are applied to families enrolling two or more students simultaneously.
5. Attendance, Missed Classes & Rescheduling
We understand that family schedules can change unexpectedly. Our rescheduling policy balances flexibility with respect for our scholars' time:
- Advance Notice: If a student cannot attend a scheduled class, a minimum of 4 hours advance notice must be provided via the Student Portal or WhatsApp coordinator. Classes cancelled with proper notice will be rescheduled at no additional charge.
- Unnotified Absences: Classes missed without notice cannot be rescheduled or credited, as the tutor's time slot was reserved exclusively for the student.
- Tutor Absences: If a tutor is unavailable due to illness or emergency, the academy will either provide a qualified substitute tutor (with your permission) or schedule a 100% make-up session.
6. Faculty Allocation & Safety Protocols
All tutors at The Quran Class undergo extensive vetting, tajweed evaluation, and background verification:
- Gender-Specific Matching: Female students and young girls are paired with qualified female scholars upon request.
- Al-Huda & Ijazah Trained: Our teachers hold credentials from prestigious institutions including Al-Huda International (students of Dr. Farhat Hashmi), Wafaq-ul-Madaris, and certified Ijazah lineages.
- Strict Non-Poaching & Anti-Private Solicitation: Students and parents agree not to engage in private teaching arrangements with academy tutors outside The Quran Class platform. Any attempt to solicit private classes harms the academy trust and will lead to immediate dismissal.
7. Intellectual Property & Content Rights
All instructional materials, customized slides, curriculum guides, web applications, audio recitation recordings, and digital tools hosted on thequranclass.com are the exclusive intellectual property of The Quran Class and its founder Muhammad Mudassir Mushtaq.
Students are granted a revocable, non-transferable license to access course materials solely for personal Islamic study. Recording live sessions without the explicit written permission of both the academy coordinator and the scholar is strictly prohibited.
8. Suspension & Subscription Cancellation
You are never locked into long-term contracts. You may pause, adjust, or cancel your monthly tuition subscription at any time:
- Pausing for Holidays or Exams: Students travelling or taking school examinations may pause their subscription for up to 60 days without forfeiting their schedule slot.
- Subscription Cancellation: Notify our coordinator 7 days prior to your next monthly billing cycle to cancel recurring invoices.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Quran Class and its instructors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use of our services, temporary internet connectivity interruptions, third-party software glitches (such as Zoom updates), or reliance on website content.
