💧 Step-by-Step Wudhu (Ablution) Guide

Learn how to perform Wudhu correctly according to Sunnah with step-by-step instructions.

Niyyah & Bismillah

Make intention in heart for Wudhu and recite Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim (In the name of Allah).

Wash Hands 3 Times

Wash both hands up to wrists 3 times, ensuring water reaches between fingers thoroughly.

Rinse Mouth 3 Times

Take water into mouth with right hand and rinse mouth thoroughly 3 times (use Miswak if available).

Sniff Water into Nose

Sniff water into nostrils with right hand 3 times and blow it out gently using left hand.

Wash Entire Face 3 Times

Wash full face 3 times from top of forehead hairline to chin and earlobe to earlobe.

Wash Arms to Elbows

Wash right arm from fingertips up to elbow 3 times, then left arm up to elbow 3 times.

Wipe Head & Ears (Masah)

Wipe wet hands over head once from front to back, and wipe inner/outer ears with index finger & thumb.

Wash Feet to Ankles

Wash right foot including ankles 3 times (interlacing toes), then left foot up to ankle 3 times.

🤲 Dua After Completing Wudhu:

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

Translation: "I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah Alone without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. O Allah, make me of those who repent and make me of those who purify themselves."
